Job Summary: Provides emergency medical care and transportation for patients. Performs departmental duties for CarolinaEast Health, the EMS Department, and the EMS Manager.

Minimum Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. Current North Carolina EMT-Intermediate credentialing. Current BCLS certification. ACLS and PALS or sucessful completion within six months of hire. Obtain PHTLS certification within two years from hire date. Valid North Carolina driver's license with good driving record. Demonstrate ability to drive an ambulance safely and efficiently. Obtain EVOC training within one year of date of hire. One year of experience at the EMT-Intermediate level, with a paid or volunteer rescue organization.
