CarolinaEast Physicians is made up of over eighty physicians, and mid-level providers who provide care to patients spanning four eastern North Carolina Counties. We have specialties including Primary Care, Pediatrics, Rheumatology, Cardiology, Pulmonology, Neurology, Endocrinology, Cardiovascular Surgery, Otolaryngology, General Surgery, Oncology, and Urology.
Job Summary:The Nurse Practitioner is authorized to perform specific routine duties on a regular, repetitive basis. These duties may be performed without specific prior discussion with the supervising physician. The supervising physician or his/her alternate will be on site for review of findings and plan of treatment.
Minimum Requirements: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Successful completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner program. Maintain AHA BLS and ACLS certifications. Three years of professional nursing experience. Oncology experience sufficient to manage unique needs of this patient population. Current licensure in the state of North Carolina. Must work under the supervision of an M.D. or D.O. Cardiology experience a must, EP experience preferred.
