Job Summary: The Radiation Oncology Office Specialist II, under the direction of the Office Coordinator, proficiently performs clerical duties within the Radiation Department.

Minimum Requirements: High school graduate. Medical office Associate's degree or two years of medical office/hospital experience is preferred. Good knowledge of imaging, medical terminology, and ICD coding system, as well as adequate typing and computer literacy skills are required. Excellent communication skills both on the telephone and dealing with patients, co-workers, and doctors. Must be able to function in stressful situations and with difficult personalities.
