 CarolinaEast Physicians is made up of over eighty physicians, and mid-level providers who provide care to patients spanning four eastern North Carolina Counties. We have specialties including Primary Care, Pediatrics, Rheumatology, Cardiology, Pulmonology, Neurology, Endocrinology, Cardiovascular Surgery, Otolaryngology, General Surgery, Oncology, and Urology.  

Job Summary: Responsible for assisting physicians with patient care, clerical, environmental, and organizational tasks. Responsible for appointment scheduling and chart management. Provides information to patients so they may fully utilize and benefit from the clinic services.

Minimum Requirements: High School diploma. Graduation from an accredited program for Medical Assistants. Has obtained certification and is currently a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or obtains certification within the first 90 days of employment. Maintains AHA BLS certification.
