Physician Assistant Morehead City Heart Center

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive assessments, examinations, and follow-up care for cardiology patients
• Assist in diagnosing and managing acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions
• Order and interpret diagnostic studies, including ECGs, echocardiograms, and stress tests
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and support staff to develop and implement patient care plans
• Provide education to patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment plans, medications, and preventive care

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited PA program
• Current and unrestricted Physician Assistant license in NC
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• 1+ year of experience in Cardiology or Internal Medicine preferred (new grads with strong clinical rotations in cardiology will be considered)
• Excellent communication, clinical, and teamwork skills
