Employee Health Nurse - Human Resources

Job Summary:In partnership with the Employee Health Nurse Manager, the Employee Health Nurse develops, implements, and maintains the Employee Health Program for CarolinaEast Health System. This role supports system-wide employee wellness, coordinates closely with Infection Control and Safety, and ensures compliance with regulatory and organizational standards. The primary objective is to protect employee health, promote wellness, and support a safe work environment across all departments and locations.

Minimum Requirements: 

  • Current North Carolina RN license. 
  • Minimum two years of clinical experience in an outpatient or occupational health setting preferred. 
  • Commitment to pursuing National Board Certification in Occupational Health (COHN) preferred. 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Epic, and Intoximeter Breath Alcohol Testing equipment. Typing speed of 50 wpm. 
  • Availability to work 40 hours/week, primarily Monday through Friday, with flexibility based on department needs. 
  • Demonstrates ability to assess and provide age-appropriate care in accordance with Employee Health policies and procedures.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service that upholds CarolinaEast's Standards of Excellence.
