EMT Paramedic - Emergency Medical Services
**Sign-on bonus of $5,000.00 for full time employees

Job Summary: The Paramedic will provide emergency medical care and transportation for patients. This position will also perform departmental duties for CarolinaEast Health System, EMS department, and the EMS manager.

Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current North Carolina Paramedic credential.
- Have and maintain a valid license to operate a motor vehicle in the State of North Carolina.
- Any personnel operating a CarolinaEast owned ambulance must have a minimum of three years' driving experience.
- Ability to drive an ambulance safely and efficiently.
- Successful completion of Emergency Vehicle Drive (EVD) course within one year of hire.
- Maintenance of EVD certification; required EVD refresher course every two years.
- One year experience at the Paramedic level preferred.
- Current AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS certification.
- Obtain PHTLS certification within one year from date of hire.
- Deliver outstanding customer service that upholds CarolinaEast's Standards of Excellence.
