PRN In House Pharmacy Technician

Job Summary: To perform pharmacy tasks as assigned by the Staff Pharmacists or Pharmacy Director/Manager. Duties and responsibilities are to accurately and systematically enter and fill prescriptions under the supervision of the Pharmacist within acceptable turnaround times. Ensures the items are reordered to prevent inventory outages. Puts away daily order with accuracy and in a timely fashion to prevent excess inventory. Accepts responsibility for the daily completion of each assigned task. Accurately follows established procedures for the dispensing, control, and documentation of controlled substances.

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must have obtained CPhT.
• Prefer recent retail pharmacy experience.
• Deliver outstanding customer service that upholds CarolinaEast's Standards of Excellence.
