Rehab Operations Specialist - Inpatient Rehab
Job Summary: The Rehab Operations Specialist is responsible for monitoring information, activity records, performance metrics, and other relevant resources to ensure the accuracy and completeness of industry related standards within the Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility (IRF) and associated departments. He/she works closely with the Director of Rehabilitation Services and Rehab Leadership team to implement and track quality and performance measures, particularly those affiliated with the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF). He/she serves as the primary resource for learning and development opportunities within CarolinaEast Rehabilitation Hospital. All duties and responsibilities must be carried out with empathy and compassion towards patients and their families, as well as coworkers.

Minimum Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited program in a rehabilitation specialty such as nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech language pathology, etc. Associate’s Degree required. Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Licensed clinician in the State of North Carolina associated with the rehabilitation specialty noted above.
- Minimum of three (3) years professional experience in a rehabilitation setting required.
- Evidenced expertise in clinical judgement and leadership ability.
- Must be familiar with industry specific standards, including CARF and TJC.
- Possess the ability to communicate effectively using the appropriate channels with all interactions. Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Able to follow oral and written instructions and perform assigned activities. Flexible, reliable, and able to work independently.
