RN - Cath Lab
Job Summary: The Cardiac Cath/EP Lab is a 3 lab unit that includes a pre and post op area. The mission for the Cardiac Cath/EP lab is commitment to the highest quality care given to the community we serve. With a team of dedicated professionals, we strive to provide patients with state of the art invasive and interventional cardiovascular procedures. Performs the patient care aspect of the diagnostic and interventional Cardiac Cath/EP lab procedures. Preps and recovers patient pre/post cath. Performs moderate sedation and records vital signs. Maintains continuity of care for patients while they are in the Cardiac Cath Lab and prepares charts for procedures. Operate POC testing as required. The Cardiac Cath RN must be able to maintain calm while being effective and accurate in critical situations, foster an environment of collaboration and respect, and maintain a positive approach to working in a fast-paced environment. Must take emergency call with a 30-minute response time.

Minimum Requirements:
- Graduate from an approved School of Professional Nursing.
- Licensed by the North Carolina Board of Nursing and two years of experience as a Critical Care Nurse preferred.
- Maintain current AHA BLS certification.
- ACLS certification required within the first 90 days of employment.
- Deliver outstanding customer service that upholds CarolinaEast's Standards of Excellence.
** Sign on bonus of $20,000.00 for qualified, full time candidates
