Volunteer Services Assistant - Patient Relations

Job Summary:  This position will be responsible for staffing the Surgery Waiting Room as designated along with assisting the Manager of Volunteer Services with daily work activities as deemed necessary.

Minimum Requirements: 

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent typing and computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Publisher. 
• Must become familiar with hospital layout. 
• Excellent customer service skills. 
• Must be able to work with a wide variety of people and age groups. 
• Must be able to work effectively with outs and without direct supervision. 
• Must display professional appearance at all times and be a self-motivator. 
• Must be able to maintain confidentiality.
