Scheduling Supervisor, CIM Pollocksville

Job Summary: Supervises the daily activities of both the surgery and diagnostic scheduler/ coordinators as well as the transcription staff. Ensures that all surgical and diagnostic testing has been pre-authorized as required. Oversees all charting and documentation to insure completion and accuracy.

Minimum Requirements:
•    High school graduate, some college preferred.
•    Minimum of 4 years’ healthcare experience to include a minimum of 2 years’ surgery scheduling or related experience.
•    Must have knowledge of Governmental, and Managed Care prior approval, medical necessity and reimbursement rules and regulations.
