Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist, Electrophysiology Lab
JOB SUMMARY: The Electrophysiology Specialist, under the supervision of the Cath Lab/Electrophysiology Manager, Associate manager and direction of the Cardiologist co-ordinates the technical and patient care component of EP Studies, device implantations, and other invasive procedures. He/she is responsible for all aspects of patient care in accordance with hospital and department policies and procedures

Minimum Requirements:
- Graduate from an approved school with an Associate Degree in Radiology Science, Cardiovascular Technology, Professional Nursing, or Emergency Medical Science with Paramedic Certification.
- Registered by ARRT, RN, RECS or RCIS and two years’ Cath Lab/EP experience preferred. For Paramedics with Associate in Applied Science in EMS with Paramedic certification, must be registered with RCIS/RCES within 18 months of employment required.
- The Electrophysiology Specialist must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on this unit. The individual must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patients’ status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient’s requirements to his/her age; specific needs, and to provide the care needed as described in the departments policies and procedures
- Maintain BLS certification.
- ACLS certification must be obtained within 90 days of employment and maintain current
- Deliver outstanding customer service that upholds CarolinaEast's Standards of Excellence.
** Sign on bonus of $15,000.00 for qualified, full time candidates
