IV Admixture Tech II, Pharmacy

Job Summary: The I.V. Admixture Technician Level II is a professional position for an individual who meets the following requirements and wants a higher standard of practice and excellence. Requirements include: being proficient with computer order entry, demonstrate the ability to solve problems, assist in training of other technicians to perform complex procedures, ability to prioritize, and certification by PTCB exam. This position requires an individual to have above average knowledge of I.V. technician practice.

Minimum Requirements:

• Knowledge of basic clerical and communication principles generally acquired through a high school education or GED is required.
• Ability to type.
• Ability to work assigned shifts and to help provide coverage during all operating hours as needed.
• Twelve months' experience as an I.V. Admixture Technician at CarolinaEast Health System. Certification by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB).
• Good interpersonal skills.
• No disciplinary actions in the past twelve months.
• Deliver outstanding customer service that upholds CarolinaEast's Standards of Excellence.
