Manager, Facility Design & Construction
Job Summary: The Manager of Facility Design & Construction leads the planning, design, and execution of healthcare construction and renovation projects across CarolinaEast Health System. This role ensures all projects are functional, compliant, cost effective, and delivered on schedule. The Manager oversees internal construction resources, external consultants and contractors, and ensures full regulatory compliance while maintaining a safe and uninterrupted patient-care environment.

Minimum Requirements:
• Minimum seven years of progressive experience in design, engineering, or construction, including at least five years in healthcare construction or design.
• Professional licenses such as Architect, Engineer, or General Contractor (NC) preferred.
• Preferred Certifications: CHC, CHFM, PMP, LEED AP, or equivalent.
• Strong working knowledge of construction methods, plumbing, mechanical and electrical systems, and applicable codes and licensure requirements.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, Excel, and Word.
• Experience with Revit, Procore, Bluebeam, or similar modern construction technology platforms.
• Ability to work varied hours as required by project demands, including nights and weekends.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
