Third Party Biller- Insurance
Job Summary: Performs all duties related to the preparation, completion, submission (electronic and paper) and collection of insurance claims to all Third Party Carriers.

Minimum Requirements:
- High school graduate.
- It is imperative that the employee have thorough knowledge of UBO4 Hospital Billing forms is cognizant of the use of UBO4 coding in reference to understanding and interpreting claim coding guidelines and requirements.
- Must have complete understanding of the 1500 Physician billing form relative to the preparation, coding, and interpretation of information in billing claims.
- Must be knowledgeable of the use of CPT-4 and HCPCS coding and modifier usage.
- Must be knowledgeable of guidelines and requirements for eligibility, coverage and benefits and claim submission practices for all government programs (Medicare, Medicaid and Champus).
- Must know basic billing specifications for BCBS and commercial insurance carriers.
- Requires at least 2 years' experience in a hospital or medical business office relating to patient account functions.
